Pressburg Soirée is a series of intimate chamber concerts held on summer Saturday evenings, inviting visitors to rediscover the time when Pressburg was one of Central Europe’s most important cultural centres and a city where Slovak, German, and Hungarian traditions lived side by side.

Rather than presenting a simple sequence of musical works, the programme tells the story of a city where different languages, nationalities, and artistic traditions coexisted for centuries.

Pressburg Soirée is much more than a traditional classical music concert. It is a complete cultural experience that combines live music, magnificent historical architecture, elegant costume design, and the refined atmosphere of late 19th- and early 20th-century salons. The music, visual design, and historic setting blend into one immersive experience, inviting visitors to see Bratislava not merely as the venue, but as the true protagonist of the evening.

The visual identity of the project was created by Alžbeta Švehlíková, who designed the historically inspired costumes, jewellery, and artistic details featured throughout the performance. Her work is based on studies in art and design, professional costume design training, and extensive experience in theatre production.
