A discussion about Bratislava from the perspective of architectural historian Peter Szalay and entomologist Marek Semelbauer.
Mgr. Peter Szalay, PhD. is a Slovak historian of architecture and fine arts. Since 2018, he has been an independent researcher at the Department of Architecture of the Historical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava.
Mgr. Marek Semelbauer, PhD.
works at the Institute of Zoology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. He focuses on insects, especially dipterans, their faunistics, ecology, morphology, and taxonomy. In cooperation with the Bratislava Regional Conservation Association (BROZ), he monitors pollinators, particularly in connection with the restoration of traditional livestock grazing.
