You can enjoy the expressive and emotional Bachata dance this weekend from 17 – 19 January 2025 in Bratislava at the Bachata Bratislava Weekend.
Bachata is a popular ballroom dance that originated in the Dominican Republic in the early 20th century. It is characterised by its romantic and sensual style. It is often danced to music with guitar, percussion and a distinctive rhythm. The music and dance of bachata often express themes of love, heartbreak and passion.
Over the years, bachata has evolved into a variety of styles, including traditional, modern, and sensual bachata, each with its own unique characteristics and elements.
Today, bachata is danced around the world in dance studios, clubs and social gatherings, making it a vibrant part of Latin American dance culture.

Includes any choice of 6 workshops (Saturday 3 + Sunday 3) + Friday’s and Saturday’s party (Guest improvisations + animations with guests + bachata show)
DANCE LEVELS:
*Intermediate – approx. 2 years of dancing (with the basics of sensual bachata)
*Intermediate – approx. 3+ years of dancing (with more experience in sensual bachata)
You can purchase single tickets to each party separately, on site.
