Treat your children or grandchildren to an educational and fun day at the end of the holidays, where they will learn about mining, history and minerals or bats.
The whole day will be in the form of competitions and games and various other activities. It is up to you how long you stay, the children will have something to discover all the time.
The event will be in the form of a picnic. So be sure to bring a blanket or something similar. A paid buffet will be provided.
Please ensure that children are accompanied by a parent(s) or grandparent(s).
The event and competitions start at 9:00 a.m.
The last registration for children is at 12:00 p.m.
The full programme and timetable with detailed instructions will be sent to registered participants 2 weeks before the event, or you can follow this event page .
A commemorative certificate will confirm the completion of the academy, and a ceremonial “jump through the hoops” will seal the deal.
Drinking is provided for the children. (0,5 l of water)
The fee per child is 9 € on site, or 8 € if you pay electronically when registering.
Suitable for children from 5 – 12 years old
As last year, please register for the event. This is so that we can prepare everything needed in advance. If you don’t register, you are welcome, but we can’t guarantee our capacity.
