Playful exercise for parents with children up to 3 years of age with yoga instructor Renata Parízková based on the book Yoga for children and babies from Matys Publishing House.

Yoga instructor Renata Parízková will introduce exercises that you can later practice at home and spend pleasant moments together with your little ones. Editor Daniela Lysá will present books for the little ones from Matys Publishing House.

It is necessary to bring a mattress/exercise mat and comfortable clothes to the event.

Yoga, an ancient discipline originating in India that induces well-being of body, mind and spirit, has positive effects on people: it reduces stress, improves, strengthens and tones bones, muscles and joints, relieves pain and helps to breathe calmly, relaxed and deeply. All this leads to a state of well-being and inner peace.

Pilates is a physical activity that combines four disciplines – yoga, dance, fitness and kinesiology. It consists of an exercise program designed to bring balance to the muscles and promote the connection of body, mind and spirit. Pilates has many benefits: it promotes concentration, the ability to relax, flexibility, strengthens muscles and joints.

YOGA FOR CHILDREN AND BABIES

The book presents a series of postures, relaxation exercises and games with children from 1 year to 3 years, the last pages are dedicated to babies from 3 to 12 months. The postures are grouped by purpose and arranged by level of difficulty from lowest to highest.

PILATES FOR KIDS:

The exercises in the book are tailored for children and are grouped into six physical characteristics: speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Five exercises and a relaxing board game are designed to practice each of these. You will also find tips, ideas and relaxation exercises.

RENÁTA PARÍZKOVÁ has been practicing yoga for more than 30 years and is a Level 1 instructor. She leads regular hatha yoga classes, organizes weekly yoga retreats.

MATYS PUBLISHING focuses on publishing children’s books. Be drawn into the magical world of Tony Wolf’s illustrations, have fun with little ones with playful and colorful picture books with cheerful rhymes, play with audiobooks and books with stickers or windows, and discover the world with encyclopedias with videos or augmented reality…
