The world famous dancer Archie Burnett third time visits Slovakia!!! He is one of the founders of the Vogue, Waacking and Hustle dance. This time He is coming with his dance brother Bravo Brahms Lafortune! Let’s learn directly from the source! Archie & Bravo are coming elusively for Tanec Ulice’s invitation to Bratislava. He is bringing the original view to those dance styles. This year, third year @Slovakia!
Archie is 60 years old dancer the living legend. He lived his prime during the disco era in New York. Bravo danced and played in the famous disco club Studio 54.
Waacking was born in disco community where gays were trying to mimic musical actors or 40s movies. Everything is stylized and nice. It’s about life, emotions and feelings. Basic dance moves are Halo, Punking, and Waack.
Vogue is nice stylized fashion inspired dance. It is based on poses od Gretta Garbo and Marylin Monroe. It is highly feminine style being danced to create illusions, shapes annd lines.
Hustle is a couple disco dance originated from New York influenced by latin-american and portorican culture.
