Good market

After April’s Good Market, which showed the joy of face-to-face meetings, we can look forward to its autumn edition. On September 23, Panenská Street will once again belong to market vendors, neighbors, artists and visitors, quality local products, artisans and diverse cultures. There will also be a Children’s Good Market and many experiences throughout the day.

We are happy where we get along.

The main theme of the fall edition, is Renewal.

You can look forward to tastings of non-traditional food, music, dance or a variety of workshops. The Climate Needs You initiative will in turn bring discussions and workshops that will bring the climate challenges and their possible solutions closer.

Traditionally without waste

Part of the Good Market is to produce as little waste as possible. Since 2017, the organisers from OZ Punkt have been fully dedicated to this topic. After five years of improvement, we are able to sort out 95% of the waste, thanks to the festival’s partners and volunteers. We are also pleased that other event organisers are interested in our experience so that we can spread it further into the world.

There will be popular sorting stations at every entrance to the Good Market Zone with volunteers on hand to advise which waste belongs where. In addition to the sorting of paper, plastic and glass, this year, thanks to the cooperation with OLO a Slovensko zálohyuje, there will also be a collection of kitchen waste, backed-up bottles and cans.
