We invite you to the 15th Tribute to Freedom concert under Devín.
The imposing castle is an important part of our history and also the place under which the Iron Curtain ran. Devín reminds us of the victims of fascism, but also of the enormous role of the Slovak nation in the fight against it. It has become a symbol of freedom not only for Bratislava, but for the whole of Slovakia.
Since 2009, the concert has been an integral part of cultural and social events in Bratislava, with an outreach to the whole of Slovakia.
The 15th edition of the event is a dramaturgical celebration of three ladies of the Slovak music scene, who are among the best we have in this sphere of art.
We will be honoured to welcome them together on one stage. They have never performed together like this before!
I think that Jana Kirschner needs no special introduction. Among her biggest hits are songs such as Pokoj v duši, V cudzom meste, Líška, Modrá, Žienka domáca, Voda divoká, duety Bude mi lehká zem a První noc novém bytě (First Night in a New Apartment). Jana Kirschner is one of the best and most prominent Slovak singers, composers, lyricists and a multiple winner of music awards in several musical genres.
Did you know that she started her music career in the group IMT Smile? Then we knew her as the lead singer of Peha. That’s where hits like Reconcile Light with Darkness, Muoj bože were created. Since 2008 she has embarked on a solo music career. Apart from singing, she also excels in playing piano and guitar. She is the recipient of many music awards.
One of the best and most prominent Slovak singers – songwriters, composers and lyricists. Among her greatest hits are songs such as Nenahraditeľná, Len Ma Ľúb, Baránok, Čaro Obyčajných Vecí, Zachovám si svoju tvár, Modlitba, Svätojánske mušky, Spojiť Sily, Holubička. In addition to singing, she also plays guitar and piano. She is the recipient of numerous music awards.
All three diva-artists will bring you an exclusive and unforgettable artistic experience in the beautiful surroundings of Devín Castle.
