Meky Žbirka is a legend of the Slovak and Czech music scene with an incredibly interesting life. He first shone in a big way when he blew the victory in the Golden Nightingale poll (Zlatý slávik) to Karel Gott. We know this musician in the spotlight as both a long-haired rocker and a British elegance. But how did he cope with the misfortunes in his life – the car crash of a loved one or the influence of the all-powerful Communist Party? How to find his own way in life and how to overcome the great social revolutions and upheavals of life, this is what the film (or rather documentary) directed by Šimon Šafránek is about, in which Miro Žbirka plays the main role.
