American metal band Korn will perform in Bratislava on May 28, 2022. After two years of waiting caused by the coronavirus pandemic, fans will finally get to see a proper dose of metal.
What’s great, however, is that Korn have not slacked off during this period and will also present their new album, which will be released on 4 February, entitled Requiem. It is their fourteenth in a row. It was produced by Chris Collier. It will be released on the Loma Vista label and will be available on all CDs and also in a special 1000 piece limited edition on silver vinyl. The first single from it, Start the Healing, was released on November 11.
The band will perform in Bratislava together with special guest American band Fever 333! This Californian three-piece band was only formed in 2017 and consists of three members. The lead singer of Letlive – Jason Aalon Butler, the guitarist of The Chariot – Stephen Harrison and the drummer Aric Improto from the band Night Verses. They debuted in 2018 with the EP Made in America, which was followed by Strength in Numb333rs. Their music can be described as rapcore or hardcore punk and you can feel the influence of bands like Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy and Black Flag. In 2019, they won the prestigious Kerrang! magazine’s Best Song of the Year award for the song “Burn it” and were nominated in the Best Rock Performance category at the Grammys.
