Paddleboarding race

SUP Club Bratislava has organized a fantastic event for you to enjoy on these warm summer days. Paddleboarding races on Štrkovec Lake in Bratislava in the Sprint and Technical Race categories. Test your balance, endurance, and determination, meet new people, and enjoy the unique feeling of freedom on the water. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced racer—what matters is the desire to try something new and push yourself. 🌊🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️

Program:

9:00 a.m. – Presentation and collection of starting numbers
9:50 a.m. – Explanation of the Sprint course
10:00 a.m. – Start of the Sprint discipline
11:30 a.m. – Evaluation of the Sprint discipline and award ceremony
11:50 a.m. – Kiboko Dual Fun Race (pair competition, registration on site)
12:35 a.m. – Explanation of the Technical Ride course
12:45 a.m. – Start of the Technical Ride discipline
16:30 a.m. – Evaluation of the Technical Ride discipline, award ceremony

Categories and material:

BOYS CHILDREN 10-13 years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)
GIRLS CHILDREN 10-13 years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)
BOYS JUNIORS 14-16 years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)
GIRLS JUNIORS 14-16 years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)
OPEN MEN 17+ years (rigid paddleboard, length max. 14′)
iSUP MEN 17+ years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)
OPEN WOMEN 17+ years (rigid paddleboard, length max. 14′)
iSUP WOMEN 17+ years (inflatable paddleboard, length max. 14′)

Race:

Sprint: 200 m with one turn around a buoy.
Technical race: 1000 m (2 laps) / 600 m (1 lap – juniors) around six buoys

Parking

Adjacent free parking, not organized by the event organizer.

Refreshments and food

At Štrkovecká Lodenica (coupon in the starter pack for a drink + snack; additional items at your own expense).
