Prague Ghost Parade

For one magical evening, Prague will transform into a city of ghosts and legends. The Prague Ghost Parade 2025 will take place on November 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, following a route from the Powder Tower along the Royal Route to Malostranské Square.

This traditional event, held on the eve of All Souls’ Day, offers a unique spectacle full of mystery, humor, and Prague’s famous legends.

The parade will feature dozens of legendary characters from Prague’s folklore — ghosts, spirits, and restless souls who will fill the streets to tell their stories. The goal of the event is not only to celebrate Czech traditions and cultural heritage but also to provide an entertaining alternative to the Anglo-Saxon Halloween.

The procession will lead from the Powder Tower along the Royal Route, where the ghosts will entertain onlookers with tales from Prague’s past, ending with a grand fire show on Malostranské Square. Participants are encouraged to bring a small bell to help chase away evil spirits and summon friendly ones.

The Prague Ghost Parade isn’t just for children — it’s a fun experience for families, locals, and history lovers who want to see Prague in a different light: full of charm, humor, and the poetry of old legends.
