Easter is approaching, and with it come Easter treats, egg painting, and Slovak traditions. You’ll also find an Easter market at Fresh Market on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Don’t expect much water, but plenty of good food! On March 28, at Rožňavská Street 1A, you’ll find stalls full of Easter goods, decorations, and Easter specialties, including ingredients for Easter cake, šúľance, mazanec, traditional potato salad, ham, Easter egg cake, and bábovky. You’ll also find sweet or savory Easter lambs and other homemade goods.
The vendors from ÚĽUV have prepared a wide variety of products and decorations for you. Come soak up the festive atmosphere with us through colorful Easter eggs and Easter bunnies.
The Easter mascot, Zajo, will also be part of Saturday’s program. He’ll take photos with your little ones, hand out some tasty treats, and put a smile on their faces. And the kids can have their faces painted with a pretty design right here under the stairs.
The entire event will be accompanied by live folk music, bringing a wonderful cultural experience to Fresh Market.
