From November 28 to December 22, 2024, Holešovice Market Comes Alive with Christmas Spirit
Visitors can look forward to a vibrant array of market stalls filled with the scents of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and other festive treats that are essential to the holiday season.
Daily Advent Calendar Surprises
Every day on the main promenade, a new surprise will be revealed as part of a special advent calendar featuring gift inspiration from the market. Children can send their wishes at the “Ježíšek’s Post Office,” adding to the magical atmosphere.
Family Adventure Trail
Families with children can enjoy an interactive adventure trail filled with tasks and puzzles inspired by Christmas traditions from around the world. Suitable for kids aged three and up, the activity offers two difficulty levels. Map cards with instructions can be purchased at the “Stories of Moss and Thread” stall.
Christmas Movie Screenings
Every Thursday at 6:00 PM, classic Christmas films like Love Actually and Three Wishes for Cinderella will be screened on the main promenade. Visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere with a hot drink in hand.
Artisan Exhibits and Special Events
Hall 22 hosts an exhibition of handmade felt figurines and Christmas scenes, perfect for fans of traditional crafts. Dog owners can join a special event on December 7, featuring a meetup and photoshoot for dogs in Christmas sweaters.
Sustainable Christmas Trees and Fresh Carp
The market offers eco-friendly Christmas trees sourced from sustainable forestry, available for online reservation or on-site purchase. From December 20 to 23, fresh carp from Klatovy will be available on the main promenade for a traditional Christmas Eve dinner.
Hall 22: Festive Essentials
Open daily except Sundays, Hall 22 provides everything you need for your Christmas table, from fresh fruits and vegetables to holiday pastries.
