UNICEF documentary A Nest Far From Home at Kino Lumière. UNICEF and Kino Lumière invite you to a screening of the documentary A Nest Far From Home on the occasion of World Children’s Day (20 November).
🎬 The documentary “A Nest Far From Home” tells the stories of four families who fled the war in Ukraine and are building a new life in Slovakia. You will learn the stories of Marina, a single mother in Košice; Roman, a shy teenager who breaks out of his shell in Nitra; Hanna, who takes care of her brother while preparing to finish her studies in Michalovce; and Elena and her family, who live in a collective accommodation facility in Bratislava. The film is a testimony to the resilience of millions of people who, after the collapse of their daily lives, are struggling to heal and build a better future for themselves and their loved ones.
