National Memorial at Vítkov, situated atop Vítkov Hill in Prague’s Žižkov district, is one of the most significant places to explore the rich history and culture of the Czech Republic. This imposing structure rises above Prague, offering a stunning view of the city—a reason to visit in itself.

Inside, the Hall of the Fallen includes the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, housing the remains of unknown soldiers who fought for freedom.
One of the main attractions of the monument is the viewing platform, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of Prague. From here, you can take in unique views of Hradčany, Petřín, the Old Town, and even more distant parts of the city.
