Experience the atmosphere of the Middle Ages at Bratislava Castle. The Slovak National Museum – Historical Museum together with the civic association Schatmansdorf invite visitors to Bratislava to the Easter medieval craft market in the courtyard of Bratislava Castle.

In the courtyard of Bratislava Castle, from Good Friday 18 April until Easter Monday 21 April, you can meet medieval craftsmen, get acquainted with medieval cuisine and products, or just experience the atmosphere of the period, all with the charm of the arrival of the spring holidays.
Visitors young and old can look forward to a rich accompanying programme , which will include demonstrations of traditional folk crafts, including knitting Easter corsages.
There will also be an “alchemist” booth with drinks for children and wine for adults based on old recipes.

Bag maker, potter, turner, coin maker, scribe, vintner, beekeeper and others will show you their crafts as well as local products of their handwork.⛏️🖌️

The experience will be completed by a medieval kitchen where you will be able to taste the historical dishes of our ancestors.
Admission to the Easter Medieval Craft Market is free and open at the same time as the Historical Museum from 10:00 to 18:00, every day from Friday 18.04.2025 to Monday 21.04.2025.
During your visit, however, do not miss the current exhibitions and expositions of the SNM – Historical Museum in the interior of the castle.
Of course, the view from the Crown Tower, the castle treasury, or a demonstration of the northern representative areas along with the latest acquisitions of the SNM – Historical Museum are also available. 🏛
