On 19 October, the Children’s Railway is holding a Family Day at the Hűvösvölgy terminus. The organisers are preparing for the day-long event with a variety of activities, including a bouncy castle, a giant board game, a creative house and face painting. In addition, the 75-year-old Passenger Service will be offering a range of delicacies, including burgers, sweets, soft drinks and hot drinks.
Train enthusiasts can find various tracks and a train simulator, the little ones can dress up as a child passenger for a photo opportunity, and of course trains will run all day between Hűvösvölgy and Széchenyi hill. The winners of the family quiz will receive railway-related gifts.
