TE!MPÓ Sports Festival

If you’re looking for an active, family-friendly, and truly varied program for the last Sunday of August, head to Andrássy Avenue. On August 30, the TE!MPÓ Sports Festival will be held for the first time, bringing together sports, music, movement, and water activities.

Organized jointly by the Terézváros Sports Center – SportPont and Eötvös10, the event will run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with plenty of activities for both children and adults.

And there is certainly no shortage of options: you can play badminton, volleyball, table tennis, floorball, or even table football. There will also be various dance and fitness classes, yoga, Thai boxing, functional training, and even juggling.

Sports, Movement and Dance All Morning

The festival will take place across several different zones, so everyone can find an activity that suits them.

On the stage, visitors can take part in Zumba Gold, 40+ women’s fitness, Zumba, kids’ hip-hop, and adult hip-hop. You can even start your morning with a refreshing tai chi or meridian exercise session.

If you prefer more relaxing forms of movement, there will also be yoga, meditative movement therapy, and contemporary dance. The functional zone will offer several different types of workouts.

And if you’re looking for something more energetic, you can try Thai boxing with the Kiss Fighting Academy.

Plenty of Activities for Children Too

TE!MPÓ is not just for sporty adults. The dedicated kids’ zone will offer families a full morning of activities, including skill challenges, kids’ movement sessions, football darts, juggling workshops, and parent-and-baby fitness.

From the youngest children to older kids, everyone can find something fun and active to enjoy, making the festival a great choice for a full family morning.

Make a Splash on Andrássy Avenue

One of the most unique parts of the festival is the water zone, where visitors can try water football, water table football, and boating.

If you’re looking for some true summer vibes at the end of August, this is definitely worth checking out. Just make sure to bring a change of clothes, because you’re likely to get wet.

Your Health Matters Too

Alongside sports and entertainment, health also plays an important role at the festival.

In the TESZ health screening zone, you can have your blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and body composition checked. The screenings will be carried out by professionals from the Terézváros Health Service, allowing you to get a quick overview of several important health indicators.

The “Secrets of Longevity” Health Expo will also offer an insight into the lifestyle of the world’s so-called Blue Zones. Through interactive activities, visual presentations, and small tastings inspired by different cultures, visitors can discover lifestyle habits that may contribute to a longer and healthier life.
