The story of Moses is one of the most well-known tales in human history. Although its roots stretch back thousands of years, the themes it explores remain relevant today.

The search for identity, the longing for freedom, the courage to stand up against injustice, the power of family bonds, and the capacity to forgive—all of these are brought to the stage of the Nová Scéna Theatre in the musical Moses. This production is more than just a classic retelling of a biblical story; it offers a modern perspective on questions of faith, hope, a sense of belonging, and humanity—issues that resonate deeply within contemporary society.

The project is the work of director and author Patrik Vyskočil, who uses the story of the biblical Exodus to address pressing social themes: the search for cultural and national identity, faith, forgiveness, and hope within a divided society.

Note: The performance features strobe lights and intense lighting effects, which may be directed toward the audience.
