Indian film festival

An Indian film festival will take place in Prague from October 8 to 10. Every year, this festival presents a wide range of Indian cinema to audiences.

You can look forward to so-called Bollywood films, which rival American Hollywood and are among India’s most internationally renowned film genres. However, the festival also aims to highlight other film genres produced in India.

These genres include, for example, comedies with political undertones, dramas, horror films, and thrillers.

You’ll also have the opportunity to watch short documentary films that offer an unbiased look at Indian culture and life in India.

These diverse film genres demonstrate that Indian cinema is more than just Bollywood and will introduce Indian culture to a wider audience.

On Sunday, October 11, the festival will conclude with a gala evening, the “Bollywood Fiesta,” at the Rokoko Theater as part of an accompanying Indian dance festival.

The festival takes place at the Světozor Cinema in Prague.
