One of the locations you can visit easily from Vienna is a little village called Podersdorf am See. If you´d like to get out of Vienna and enjoy some time sun bathing and lounging on the beach of lake you will definitely like this idea. Podersdorf is a little village situated a 50-minute car ride away from Vienna at the shore of Neusiedler See. If you don´t have a car don´t worry. Multiple times a day there´s a train that goes to Podersdorf directly from Vienna Main Station.
While on beach you can check out Podersdorf´s red and white lighthouse, go on one of the boat rides available for the tourists or simply enjoy the beautiful view. If there´s good weather you´ll be able to see the Schneeberg mountain situated in Austrian Alps.
