With Ricky Gervais, one of the most important and successful international comedians is coming to the Viennese stage. On 5 November 2021, the Golden Globe winner can be seen exclusively at Stadthalle F in Vienna with his new English-language programme “SuperNature”. Ricky Gervais belongs to the British entertainment scene like teatime to the entire nation. After touring the world two years ago with “Humanity”, his sixth stand-up comedy programme, “SuperNature”, is now in the starting blocks.

Ricky Gervais achieved international success with the second season of “The Office”. He not only played the lead role in the sitcom, but also directed the production together with his long-time friend Stephen Merchant, in addition to developing the script and directing. In the meantime, “The Office” has become the most successful British series, making it onto screens in more than 90 countries and also serving as a model for the series “Stromberg” in Germany.

Those who know the programmes of “Animals” (2003), “Politics” (2004), “Fame” (2007) and co. know that with “SuperNature” you can also look forward to a huge load of wordiness and British humour with an extra portion of social truth and the finest satire. With each solo programme, Ricky Gervais manages to find the fine line between good punchlines, funny everyday anecdotes and irony and to sharpen it a little more each time.
