OPEN AIR CINEMA ON THE ROOF OF THE MAIN LIBRARY IN VIENNA! This year, KINO AM DACH invites you to an evening cinema experience on the roof of the Vienna Main Library every day from 1 June to 15 September. Edition #20 of the city’s highest open-air cinema will show cinematic delicacies over two months and present current film highlights and festival successes together with cooperation partners such as the Vienna Libraries, FALTER, FM4 and RADIO WIEN.
Tickets can only be reserved online and are available at the box office up to half an hour before the film starts. All reserved tickets that have not been collected by half an hour before the start of the film will be released for ticket sales. In addition, there is a fixed contingent of tickets for each screening, which are available from half an hour before the start of the film. Payment is made on site in cash or by card.

* Freshly made popcorn, snacks, ice cream and drinks are available on site.
* We only have a limited number of blankets, so you are well advised to bring blankets on cool evenings – it often gets chilly in the evening!
What happens in bad weather?
As we are a pure open-air cinema, we are unfortunately unable to play during thunderstorms/storms, strong winds and heavy rain. In the event of a weather-related cancellation or abandonment of the screening (up to half an hour after the start of the film) by the organiser, the ticket can be exchanged or refunded until the end of the season by prior arrangement with the organiser.
