Farmers Market Under Palm Trees

Finally, the time has come – our markta pop-up farmers’ market is coming back! Together with the HBFLA for Horticulture and the Austrian Federal Gardens, we will be hosting the “farmers’ market under palm trees” from May and the location couldn’t be better! Our monthly pop-up farmers’ market will take place in Vienna’s Palmenhaus in the Burggarten. From bread to fish, wine and cheese – you will find everything your heart desires! In a relaxed atmosphere, you can get to know our producers, enjoy some hearty treats, do your weekly shopping and, of course, taste your way through the best food.

Children’s programme at the farmers’ market! At the markta painting station (Thurs. & Fri.: 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. | Sat. & Sun.: 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.), the little market visitors can put their artistic ideas on paper and are supervised on-site while their parents can relax and do their weekly shopping. In the “Children Planting Plants” workshop, young producers can not only plant their own plants but also learn exciting facts about growing vegetables.
