Bilal, one of the biggest names in neo-soul alongside D’angelo, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, comes to Sweden to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Top 10 Billboard-topping debut album 1st born Second!

There have been 5 albums since his debut in 2000 and a host of strong collaborations with greats like Kendrick Lamar, Common, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Beyoncé, Robert Glasper, The Roots, Guru, Mac Miller, Diddy, Talib Kweli and J Dilla to name a few.

Bilal is one of the artists from the golden age of neo-soul who never settled for being categorized, a classically trained opera singer who went on to jazz and in between hip-hop alternative rock. But it is in soul music that Bilal has remained, albeit as a strong innovator.

Bilal has perhaps done his best work on the live stage, as an energetic and slightly eccentric performer without equal. We are delighted to present one of the most interesting singers of all time and a pioneering soul and rnb artist.
