1. Melody Festival

Carnival season is coming to Stockholm in February. Or the better word for it is Quarneval - with Nymble hosting the annual show, a glorious night of masks, dancing, festivities and of course music awaits you. There's also a chance to win great prizes so keep an eye on the competition! This wonderful event takes place on 4 February, so what better way to start the month?

2. Design Week

The annual design week is back this year together with the famous Stockholm Furniture Fair. If you are a fan of modern or older design, curious details in textiles, wood and other materials, do not hesitate. The event is held in the city centre, with all sorts of themed events, food, drink and of course markets where you are guaranteed to get a glimpse of what new design has to offer for your household.

3. Accept and The Iron Maidens

To conclude the first week of February, we are proud to present Accept and Iron Maidens at Fryshuset in Stockholm. Both groups will play their powerful songs and make your heart beat faster throughout the evening. FKP Scorpio Sweden will be taking care of all the necessities so be sure to buy a ticket before they are gone. On February 7, this event is a must for all fans of classic metal.

4. Cheese Festival

What happens on 10-12 February? The most amazing cheese festival in Sweden of course! The annual cheese festival is back once again this year to provide all fans of this dairy-like delicacy with only the best and most flavourful cheese tasting experience - and since it's focused only on Swedish cheeses, it's guaranteed that the products will be of the highest quality and the most appealing to your taste buds.

5. Stockholm Extreme Sounds

On February 11, Slaktkyrkan has a great event for you - Stockholm Extreme Sounds! This event is a must for anyone who loves hard music and is ready to celebrate their musical taste in style. There are so many epic bands performing, let's mention a few - Cancer, Wormrot, Gutalax, Voodus, God Mother and so much more. Are you ready to explore the different groups and pick your favourites?

6. Flea market at Färgfabriken

Who wouldn't love a good flea market where you can buy useful items for sometimes less than half the original price of the product? As always, the Paint Factory is ready to welcome you at their flea market. Here you will find plenty of market stalls with all kinds of goods but also a nice café where you can have a snack, lunch or relax with your friends or family from the lively atmosphere of the Färgfabrik.

7. French Film Festival 2023

Nobody can argue that French movies have their own charm, uniqueness and can touch our hearts in many possible ways. And because of this, we are proud to present you the annual French Film Festival starting from 14th February. There is a wide range of movies that will be screening for whole evening until 19th February.

8. The Brian Jonestown Massacre

Mark the date February 21 in your calendar because this day will belong to The Brian Jonestown Massacre live performance! A new band on a global scale, but one of the favorites of American rock fans, this day will be an amazing experience for all rock fans. Once again, the event is provided by the Slaughterhouse, so be sure to come with plenty of energy and be ready to vibrate along all night.

9. Sewing & Handicraft Festival

But if you're up for something more... delicate, you're welcome to join other craft enthusiasts at the only Sewing and Handicraft Festival taking place on 24-26 February. Provided by Stockholmsmässan and open from 10 am to 6 pm most days, you can use the festival to escape the hustle and bustle of life and immerse yourself in discovering your own talents and hobbies.

10. RÖYKSOPP concert

16th February is going to be a night to remember. The famous electronic band named Röyksopp is coming to Stockholm to perform live in front of their fans. Watch this Norwegian band become better and better with each song from their albums and let your mind delve deep into the combination of electronic music styles.
