Gardening days at Skansen

Welcome to Skansen in bloom for two weekends in May! 🌹🌼🌷

During the weekends of May 18-19 and 25-26, we invite you to our Garden Days when our large park becomes a place for lots of knowledge, inspiration and garden enjoyment.

There will be activities for all ages – from the hobby grower to the gardening enthusiast. Shop at the garden market, take part in a cuttings exchange, enjoy nature and deepen your gardening skills! Plus, our knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to answer all your questions about gardening, growing, trees and plants!

TREE FARMS
– Rose Garden – over 100 varieties of roses!
– Herb garden – explore the herbs that grow here
– Skogaholm’s kitchen garden – what grew in a manor house garden in the 18th century?
– The printer’s garden – all children can try their hand at planting beans!
– The Tobacco Tannery – watch our gardener plant tobacco
– The allotment gardens – meet real allotment holders!

HAPPENING IN THE PARK
– Large flower exhibition in Skogaholm Manor by florist Johan Munter
– Garden market on Bollnästorget square
– Visit the servants in Skogaholm’s kitchen wing
– Nature crafts for children!
– Try out the crafts and activities of rural life with Skansen’s village team
