Multi-platinum selling Whitesnake, the legendary rock band founded by Deep Purple singer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer David Coverdale, are proud to announce that they will be playing two shows in Sweden next year Plus Very Special Guests Europe! On Tuesday 31 May 2022, they will come to Partille Arena in Gothenburg and on Saturday 4 June they will play at Hovet in Stockholm.

Established in 1978 by former Deep Purple singer David Coverdale, the group has released several platinum-selling albums including “Trouble”, “Lovehunter”, “Ready an’ Willing” and “Come an’ Get It” to more explosive hard rock with an updated Whitesnake sound on the multi-platinum-selling album “Slide It In” and in 1987 they released their self-titled, million-selling hit album “Whitesnake”. From these albums came several hits that reached the top 10 worldwide, including #1 singles “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love” as well as the unforgettable “Still Of The Night” which nearly dominated MTV 24 hours a day. Their latest album “Flesh & Blood” was released in 2019 and includes the single “Shut Up & Kiss Me”.

Bombasm, audacity and passion have helped establish Whitesnake as long-lasting, platinum-selling favourites, and they’re back with a bang in 2022. The world-renowned group will be at Partille Arena in Gothenburg on Tuesday, May 31 and Hovet in Stockholm on Saturday, June 4.

Very Special Guests this evening are Sweden’s Europe. With over 20,000,000 albums sold and an impressive career spanning 35 years, in 2017 they released their 17th studio album ‘Walk The Earth’ which was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studio in London with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Rival Sons, Shooter Jennings, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton).
