1. Halloween Prague Witch Tour

Experience a unique walking tour throughout Prague Old Town and its hidden alleys with the thematic halloweeny spooky atmosphere! Halloween Prague Witch Tour will show you where the executions took place, tell you secrets of the Astronomical clock, explain you the mysteries of Gothic architecture and house signs as well as teach you how to cast spells! The tour ends at the Old Town traditional Czech pub where the welcome drink will await for you!

2. Trail of courage in Prague Hostivař

Test your courage on Saturday (29 October) to Hostivař forest park, where you can challenge yourself in a trail full of living and inanimate scarecrows, including real krampusák! The event is suitable for all age categories based on the level of their fear. You can choose from the trail with krampusák or without (as well as with the use of flashlight). Along the way, children can look for pictures of ghosts, play a scary quiz, and smaller children can perform tasks (what the ghost is missing) at some stations.

3. Halloween at the Prague Botanical Garden

Prague’s Botanical Garden has prepared for all Halloween lovers another edition of the celebration of this spooky event which has its roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain! On Sunday, you can choose from stalls where you can try pumpkin plucking or some celtic traditional crafts, join the Halloween procession or enjoy various music performances. Various competitions and tricky tasks will be prepared for children until nightfall. Scary masks are welcomed!

4. Día de los Muertos Prague

Join a different type of Halloween celebration called Día De Muertos, the emblematic Mexican festivity! The celebration will take place at two venues, the Náprstek Museum (29 October) and in Klementinum (25 – 26 October) will once again be filled with the vibrant colors and mystic atmosphere flavors of the authentic Mexican food and drinks, the cultural expressions in the forms of live music, dance, and art, as well as workshops and face-painting for kids and adults, a contest for the best “Catrina” outfit, and our traditional procession to the Old town square, led by the Mariachi Azteca de Praga.

5. Halloween afternoon

Another Halloween family-friendly event that will be Helloween-oriented will take place in Galerie Butovice, on Sunday 6 November! The venue will turn up to a school of magic where the children will learn the basics of flying a broom, they will be able to crawl through a spider’s web and brew a magic potion. The Halloween disco where they can dance as well as professional magician and illusionist Jiří Hadaš awaits for them all as well. Those who would like to get themed but don’t have a mask at home can come and make their own at a marked station right in the mall.

6. Halloween in Karlín

The last Sunday in October will Karlín square also celebrate Halloween! Spend a nice day on Karlín square where the organisers have prepared a programme full of fun. There is going to be various stalls, traditional pumpkin carving, gingerbread workshop, creative workshops and face painting. In case you will stop by in a mask, you can look forward to the sweet a sweet treat and the day will end with a lantern parade, accompanied by the Lovesong Orchestra.

7. Halloween K-Pop Party

In case you are looking for a different kind of party but still want to celebrate Halloween, you can join the one which will be thematically oriented to the popular K-Pop songs. Enjoy the whole night of the biggest k-pop hits, a lottery with prizes, Korean alcohol, surprise gifts at the entrance – all of this will be waiting for you during this spooky October night! As always, you can expect the best Halloween outfit contest, special gifts as well as special drinks!

8. Halloween at Dvorce

Enjoy a spooky atmosphere at Prague‘s Dvorce where you can enjoy an afternoon full of fun, competitions, prizes and delicious meal! This family-friendly event will offer also offer various stalls which will keep your children occupied for the whole day. For example, there is going to be several art workshops, face painting where they can turn into a bat, pumpkin or ghost as well as fun animation programme for them. You may also look forward to the popular competition of the best mask. The afternoon will be accompanied by music performances.

9. Halloween trick-or-treat charity

A completely different type of Halloween event will take place during the last day of October at Prague’s Vinohrady. The sixth edition of the annual trick-or-treat for charity is aimed at raising money for the respected foster children’s charity, SOS Children’s Villages. The main idea is that trick-or-treaters get something, but they also give something. They can contribute 10 Kč or more to the donation bucket at each home the group (children or parents) visit. This fundraising will help these children to experience summer camps, visit the zoo or museums for their very first time. In case you are interested but cannot come physically, you can still join virtually.

10. Prague Halloween Festival

Come and join the festival which will keep you dancing the whole night within a spooky atmosphere of Halloween! Three night and three clubs throughout Prague where you can go to party, starting from Thursay until Saturday. As always, there is going to be best Halloween costume contest, spooky decorations, thematic shows & makeup artists, giant “trick or treat” bag of free can dies and free bloody shot as a welcome drink!
