On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the Čajomír Happening 2025 will take place in Lumbe Garden at Prague Castle, marking the 17th edition of this unique festival dedicated to the art of tea, sharing, and gathering.
Čajomír Happening is not your typical festival. Forget stalls, entrance fees, or commercialism. Instead, it’s an informal picnic in nature, where everyone brings their own tea and utensils and shares their passion for tea culture with others. Tea masters, artists, philosophers, and passersby come together, united by the desire to slow down, be mindful, and experience the present moment.
The atmosphere is enriched not only by the aroma of tea leaves from around the world but also by music, spontaneous performances, traditional tea ceremonies, and above all, openness and calm. In the garden beneath the castle walls, with views over Prague and surrounded by trees, you’ll find an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city.
Čajomír Happening welcomes everyone – from experienced tea connoisseurs to those just beginning their journey with this beverage. All you need to bring is a thermos, a teapot, and an open mind.
