Newly recorded music, Mozart’s own narration, short films, models, virtual reality, plus wall texts and murals—all of it brings Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to life in his beloved city of Prague.

A remarkable exhibition in Prague’s Malá Strana
Housed in a historic building yet firmly focused on the future, every exhibit is interactive and animated by state-of-the-art technology, letting you step into the composer’s world as never before. Try your hand at playing, drumming, or conducting and let the music surround you. The museum’s three floors represent the major stages of Mozart’s life, while musicological, historical, and psychological notes on the walls offer information that both entertains and enlightens.

Why a Mozart museum in Prague? Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had an extraordinary bond with the city. Prague’s people loved and admired his music, and Mozart always felt at home here. He composed his famous opera Don Giovanni for Prague, which is also the only city where you can still visit an authentic period theater and sense Mozart’s spirit. Today, in the very streets where Mozart once strolled, you’ll find the Mozart Interactive Museum—come and experience his story!
