Quiet Music Festival Prague

Prague Quiet Music Festival 2025 takes place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Fortna Monastery of Discalced Carmelites on Hradčanské Square in Prague.

This unique music festival focuses on silence, slowing down, and deep listening. It offers a space where experimental music blends with inner calm and contemplation, all within the spiritual setting of the monastery.

The festival program brings together top-tier performers dedicated to quiet music and contemporary compositions. The main guest of the fifth edition is the Berlin-based Phonetic Orchestra, which will perform in three concert sets together with the Prague Quiet Music Collective. The ensembles will present original works by their members alongside pieces by renowned composers such as Anthony Donofrio, Marcus Lundberg, and Radu Malfatti.

The program also includes two workshops — one focused on conscious movement with live music, led by Klára Vukmanov Šimokov, and the other introducing participants to the principles of Deep Listening, conducted by Jonathan Heilbron. Both workshops have limited capacity and require prior registration.
