Enjoy a unique Valentine’s evening in Prague on February 14, 2025, as the most beautiful film melodies fill the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House at the Love Story concert.
The Prague Pop Symphonics Orchestra will take you on a journey through the most touching love stories that have moved audiences worldwide.
The Municipal House, one of the most stunning Art Nouveau buildings in Prague, provides the perfect setting for this romantic musical experience. Its Smetana Hall, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and exquisite decor, will transform for the night into a space filled with emotions, lights, and breathtaking melodies.
The program will feature iconic scores from films such as Forrest Gump, Love Actually, Pearl Harbor, The Bodyguard, La La Land, Superman, and many more. Expect grand orchestral arrangements as well as intimate piano pieces.
The evening will be hosted by moderator Marek Šulc, while conductor Marek Šedivý leads the performance of the talented Markéta Poulíčková, also known as MAKY. Her powerful voice will move you with hits like I Will Always Love You from The Bodyguard and Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast.
The organizers promise more than just a musical evening – the concert will be accompanied by a light show, dance performances by Karolína Havelková and Ondřej Martiš, thematic visual effects, and a photo booth. Each guest will also receive a small gift.
Though it may seem like an event designed mainly for couples, the reality is quite the opposite. Thanks to its unique concept, this concert is also an opportunity for those attending alone to make new friends or even find love. Simply pick up a special wristband at the entrance to signal that you’re open to meeting someone new.
