From November 29, 2024, to February 2, 2025, the Botanical Garden in Prague Troja transforms into a magical space with the extraordinary exhibition Crystal Garden – A Fusion of Light and Glass in Fantastical Installations.
This one-of-a-kind experience combines the beauty of glass art, light effects, and music, creating a spectacular display for all generations. Held in the outdoor areas of the garden, the exhibition offers unforgettable moments filled with fantasy and artistic wonder.
Day and Evening Visits
During daily tours (from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM), visitors can admire how sunlight brings to life glass flowers, plants, and animals crafted by the renowned glass artist Jiří Pačinek and his team from Pačinek Glass. Evening tours (Thursday to Sunday, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) take you into a magical world where the artistic installations glow amidst a play of lights, shadows, and sounds.
Exhibition Highlights
Explore stunning glass flowers such as the radiant Skleněnka, the sharp Sasanka, or the carnivorous Adéla. These are accompanied by colorful flamingos, lizards, and other vibrant creatures. The exhibition also features displays of Japanese ikebana flower arrangements and Prague’s largest illuminated Christmas tree, complete with a crystal nativity scene – a perfect spot for memorable photos.
Interactive installations invite visitors to create their own melodies or take part in a unique light show. The glass harp, played by Petr Špatina, fills the garden with original compositions designed exclusively for this exhibition, adding a truly extraordinary ambiance to the experience.
