3Kino FilmFest Prague

This 11th edition of the festival will offer not only great films but also the chance to meet film stars, participate in discussions with creators, and experience unique artistic projects. The grand opening will feature the highly anticipated premiere of the film Jerzy Kulej: Two Sides of Victory – a biography of the legendary Polish boxer.

The festival’s competition section will showcase 18 Central European films, with eight of them having their Czech premiere. Visitors will have the opportunity to be among the first to see films that are just hitting theaters.

This year’s accompanying program will focus on Karel Čapek, one of the greatest Czech writers, whose works influenced not only literature but also film. The festival will include lectures, discussions, and screenings of films inspired by his visionary ideas. Art lovers can look forward to an exhibition by graphic artist Jaromír 99, who will present his version of Kafka’s Castle, and Marek Musil with photographs from the Burning Man festival on the theme I, Robot, linked to Čapek’s work.
