Elán concert

On September 20th at 8:30 PM, one of the most anticipated concerts of the year will take place at the O2 Arena in Prague – a special performance by the iconic Czech-Slovak band Elán. The band, which sold out the largest venues of the former Czechoslovakia in record time, will present a concert titled *Pre Vaša* in honor of their late bandmate and founder, Vašo Patejdl.

The *Pre Vaša* concert will offer a unique experience where fans will have the chance to influence part of the evening’s playlist through voting. During the concert, Elán will pay musical and audiovisual tribute to Vašo and reflect on his irreplaceable contribution to the band. Additionally, the legendary Škoda 110 R from the film *Rabaka* will be on display during these special performances.

“We thank everyone for the condolences and support during the loss of our Vašo. A part of Elán left with him, but he remains forever in our hearts,” said the band’s frontman Jožo Ráž, who will also celebrate his 70th birthday at the concert. This event was initially meant to be a joint celebration of both founders, as they were born in the same year.

At the concert, Elán will return to their purely rock style from the 1980s when they played without wind instruments and focused primarily on rock tracks. Songs from the period when Vašo Patejdl was not part of the band and pursued his solo career will also be performed.

This exceptional evening is an opportunity for all Elán fans to remember one of the most important musicians of the Czechoslovak music scene and enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere filled with emotions and great music.
