Character Hunters

Come and discover the world of signs, symbols and ciphers life in the interactive light exhibition of the Pilsen cultural production DEPO2015. This unique exhibition will be hosted in the well-known venue the Holešovice Market Hall from 20.2. – 31.8.2024.

The exhibition is designed for parents with children and will guide young adventurers through the unconventional world of writing, its history, the basics of typography, as well as ciphers and communication in general. In the educational exhibition, children will turn into Character Hunters and get acquainted with the world of writing.

The exhibition is suitable for children with at least basic knowledge of letters.

On their adventurous journey, the Character Hunters have to cope with 11 interactive exhibits. They have to reason with the robot Blablator, try their hand at typesetting on a special light press, beat a light whip, explore the traces of writing instruments, literally stomp out letters on the keyboard of a giant typewriter or clean the video-mapping city of advertisements.

On their journey, they must also decipher an encrypted message that will lead them to the exposition’s destination.
