Guided feedings and meetings

This weekend, do not miss the unique opportunity to bring your children or family to Prague’s Zoo, which organises every weekend guided feedings and meetings.

You will have the opportunity to see animals when they are most active and discover interesting facts about their lives. What is more, there is going to be planned encounters with your favourite animals accompanied by engaging narratives take place throughout the day.

Those who will come will learn something new and interesting about when they are most active and discover interesting facts about their lives.

From March to the end of May, guided feedings and meetings are held only on weekends and holidays, from June to August daily.

In September, feedings and meetings are again held only on weekends and holidays. Some of the meetings are new this year, such as the popular capybara meetings.

10:00 meeting at the raptors – Vultures at the south entrance
10:00 Meeting at the Hippos – Hippo Pavilion
10:30 Feeding of the Buzzards – African House
10:30 Kangaroo feeding – Darwin Crater
11:00 Meet the capybaras – Capybaras next to the anthills
11:00 Feeding of penguins and ducks – Outdoor exhibit at the Penguin Pavilion (on 3/3/2024 the guided feeding will exceptionally take place at 10.30am)
11:00 Giraffe Encounter – African House
12:00 gorilla encounter – Méfou Centre
12:00 gorilla encounter – Dja Reserve
13:00 Meeting at the Big Turtles – Big Turtle Pavilion (March to May, Saturdays and Sundays only)
13:00 Watermelon Wednesdays at the Big Turtles – Outdoor exhibit at the Big Turtle Pavilion (June to September, Wednesdays only)
1:00 p.m. Flamingo Encounters – Pink Flamingos
1:00 p.m. Pekari feeding – Plains
1:30 p.m. sea lion training demonstration – Sea lions (except Fridays)
14:00 wombat meeting – Darwin’s Crater
14:00 meeting with Przewalski’s horses – Gobi
14:00 reptile meeting – Reptile and Feline Pavilion (Saturday and Sunday only)
14:30 elephant meeting – Valley of the Elephants, lookout opposite the wolves
14:30 lemur feeding – Lemur Island
15:15 Waterfowl meeting – Bird Wetlands
15:30 manole feeding – Gobi (except Sunday)
16:00 Devil Encounter – Darwin’s Crater
