Three Kings Day Parade

On Friday, January 3, 2025, Prague’s historic center will become the setting for an extraordinary event – the Three Kings Parade, commemorating the legendary journey of the three wise men to Bethlehem.

Leading the parade, which begins at 3:30 PM on Malostranské náměstí, will be the three kings on camels, accompanied by drummers, trumpeters, and other figures in historical costumes. The procession will cross the iconic Charles Bridge, pass through Mariánské náměstí, and conclude at Old Town Square, where the kings will symbolically present their gifts to baby Jesus in a live nativity scene. This event is not only a celebration of the Christmas season but also a gesture of solidarity through the Three Kings Charity Collection, supporting people in need.

The festive day will begin at 3:00 PM with a service and blessing for the carolers at St. Thomas Church in Malá Strana, given by Archbishop Jan Graubner. Afterward, the parade will set off on its route. At 4:45 PM, the program will culminate on Old Town Square with a concert featuring Jakub Jan Ryba’s Christmas Mass “Hej Mistře.”
