Open House Prague Festival

Open House Praha 2025 will take place from May 12 to 18, 2025, and will transform the capital city into a living gallery of architecture that everyone can explore for free from a completely new perspective.

On the weekend of May 17 and 18, normally inaccessible buildings will open their doors — historic palaces, industrial complexes, modern offices, and technical structures that we usually pass by.

The week-long program from Monday to Friday will offer guided walks, lectures, discussions, and meetings with architects. The main weekend section will allow visitors to peek behind the walls of company headquarters, government offices, train stations, and other architectural gems that shape the everyday life of city residents but remain hidden from most.

The festival is based on community collaboration and volunteerism, aiming to make architecture accessible to all. Emphasis is placed on barrier-free access and inclusivity – with special tours prepared for children, people with hearing or visual impairments, and foreigners living in Prague long-term.

Open House Praha 2025 is not just about buildings, but especially about the people who inhabit, design, and maintain them. It’s an invitation to explore, slow down, and share the joy of the city we live in every day.
