Film Music Concert

The Dalibor Havlíček Symphony Orchestra invites you to its successful Film Music Concert. This vivid orchestra, full of young musicians, has prepared for you the most famous melodies ever used for the silver screen.

You will hear famous melodies from one of the greatest composers of film music ever, Ennio Morricone – the films Once Upon a Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Soundtracks from other famous western movies, like The Magnificent Seven or Winnetou – The Treasure of the Silver Lake, are also on the programme. The orchestra will also play several songs from a western movie parody – Lemonade Joe.

Musical lovers will definitely enjoy the famous melody, created by British composer A. L. Webber – the title song of the musical Phantom of the Opera, well-known ABBA songs, in the version from the musical adaptation Mamma Mia or melodies from the first and probably the most famous Czech musical Green Gold.

Fans of action movies will also enjoy themselves. For them, the orchestra included the central theme from the James Bond series, an original song from the Mission Impossible series or the main theme from the boxing film Rocky.

Last but not least, a heart-touching melody from the Oscar-winning movie Schindler’s List is to be heard.
