Come to the anniversary 25th edition of festival One world that will happen from 22 to 30 March in Prague cinemas and will offer 90 documentary films. This years‘ theme is the price of safety, and the main intention is want to draw attention of the public to the problems that society is facing now and that the festival cannot ignore – whether it is the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis or climate change.
You may expect dozens of Czech and foreign films. There will also be virtual reality and discussions with film guests from all over the world.
You may expect for example film Kuciak: Murder of a journalist (a real-life story of the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová), Pongo Calling (in which Romani truck driver Štefan Pongo fights prejudice and discrimination against Roma across Europe), Connected to Earth Anna, (which confronts viewers with the damage done to the planet by humanity’s rapid expansion) as well as the interactive project In El Helicoide Prison will show what life is like in the infamous prison for political prisoners in the middle of the Venezuelan capital.
