At the initiative of the World Heart Federation, the World Heart Day is celebrated in most countries of the world at the end of September every year, and the Hungarian Society of Cardiologists and the Heart Foundation of the Hungarian Society of Cardiologists have joined in organising a Family Health Day since 2000. Our Heart Day is a free public event – this year again hosted by Millenáris on 25 September 2022 – with health screenings, counselling, interactive information programmes and professional lectures by renowned cardiologists.
In addition to screenings, this public awareness day will focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet and physical activity. The main message of the Heart Day event is therefore the importance of taking care of your heart health.
