From 14-17 October, the Liszt Celebration International Cultural Festival will once again bring a wealth of exciting books, literary discussions and music to the Castle Garden Bazaar.
The 10th annual Margó Literary Festival and Book Fair will present the latest books by Ádám Bodor, Vilmos Csányi, János Háy, László F. Földényi, László Kollár-Klemencz, Béla Markó, Krisztián Nyáry, Márton Simon, László Szilasi, Krisztina Tóth and others, and the Margó Prize will be awarded for the seventh time.
This year, there will finally be a world literature stage again, with authors such as Deborah Feldman, author of the novel Unorthodox, Jennifer Teege from Germany, Alex Schulman from Sweden, Jón Kalman Stefánsson and Sigríður Hagalín Björnsdóttir from Iceland, Gaëlle Josse from France and Iréne Solà from Catalonia.
The Magashegyi Underground will present a special performance of poems from contemporary Hungarian literature, and the unique literary-musical project Klasszik Lasszó, Ferenc Czinki, Zsófi Kemény will perform, Iván Vitáris and Barbara Schoblocher, Gábor Jancsó, Máté Pénzes, known from the Blahalouisana band, and the debut of the performance Belefér egy pici szívbe (A little heart can fit), in which members of the Csík orchestra set to music the children’s poems of Krisztián Grecsó.
