If you’re looking for an active, action-packed event in Budapest on September 18–19, head over to Kőbánya, where the Great Sports Fair and the Great Musical Instruments Fair are being held once again!

At this two-day event, you can try out more than 100 sports and 25 musical instruments in person, so visitors can do more than just look around—they can actually get a taste of forms of exercise and musical genres they may not have encountered before.

The range of sports on offer is extremely diverse: in addition to classic ball games, tennis, and badminton, as well as water sports, combat sports, dance, equestrian sports, motocross, modern pentathlon, SUP, dragon boat racing, figure skating, triathlon, and many other unique sports. Qualified coaches will be on hand at the venues to assist participants, and there will also be sport demonstrations and open training sessions for those interested.

One of the event’s highlights is that visitors can meet Olympic, world, and European champion athletes, as well as well-known elite athletes—and even participate in certain activities alongside them. The primary goal is for everyone to find a form of exercise that they can enjoy and practice regularly.

In addition to sports, music also plays an important role: the Great Instrument Fair is joining the event for the tenth time this year. At the Music Grove, visitors can get an up-close look at more than 25 instruments—ranging from classical instruments to more modern musical instruments—with the help of professional instructors.

The Big Sports Fair is therefore not only a great event for families and children, but also for anyone who wants to try a new sport, get some exercise, or simply spend an active weekend.
