Exciting educational experiences, spooky atmospheres, and magical autumn adventures await visitors of all ages. Whether you’re looking for a family outing, an evening of exploration, or a truly unique Halloween experience, Zoo Halloween promises an unforgettable night in the heart of Budapest.

At the “Bloodlines – The Dark Secrets of Nature” educational program, you can explore the science of blood. Discover why certain animals drink blood, what makes some plants blood-red, and what a single drop of blood can reveal to veterinarians. Learn about unusual feeding habits, medicinal herbs, dye plants, blood tests, and sample collection. There will also be plenty of potions and witchcraft-inspired activities to enjoy!

During the evening animal presentations, you’ll get up close to reptiles, dangerous predators, and even a real snake. A bravery challenge will reveal who the boldest member of your family is! Fire-juggling and LED performances will light up several areas of the zoo, while magical games await near the seal pool. At the Witches’ Hut, experienced old witches will even offer the bravest visitors a glimpse into the future.
