SUP Festival

The Budapest SUP Festival returns for its 11th edition, inviting paddlers to experience one of Hungary’s largest community stand-up paddleboarding events. On 4 July, nearly 400 participants will paddle along the Danube from Római Part to Kopaszi Bay, enjoying spectacular views of Budapest from the water.

The event welcomes both experienced paddlers and complete beginners. Free group lessons and safety briefings are provided before departure, making the festival accessible even for first-time SUP participants. Throughout the tour, professional photographers and drone operators capture unforgettable moments, while participants can relax and enjoy refreshments after arriving at Kopaszi Bay. A return shuttle to the starting point is also available for pre-registered guests.

Participants may join with their own paddleboard or rent one as part of their registration, making this a unique summer adventure for anyone looking to explore Budapest from a different perspective.
