If you enjoy spending time on the water and are looking for a unique outdoor experience in Budapest, the Eventus Water Tour offers a fantastic opportunity to explore one of the city’s hidden natural treasures.

Throughout the summer, free one-day paddling tours are being organized on the beautiful Soroksári Branch of the Danube for people working in any area of education. Whether you are a teacher, lecturer, kindergarten educator, administrator, or work in any educational institution, you are welcome to join.

The tours take place along the peaceful Soroksári-Danube, a calm and scenic waterway surrounded by greenery, wildlife, and quiet riverside landscapes. It is a perfect escape from everyday routines and a chance to experience a different side of Budapest from the water.

No previous paddling experience is required. Beginners are welcome, and participants will receive guidance throughout the day. Selected dates also include an open day and helmsman training program for those interested in learning more about water touring.

Participation is completely free of charge. The only requirements are advance registration and a valid institutional education identification number (OM code).

Tour dates:

• June 13, 2026
• June 14, 2026
• June 20, 2026
• June 27, 2026 – tour and helmsman training (open day)
• July 11, 2026
