Three enchanting evenings await in August as the Candlelight concert series returns to Budapest, bringing classical and contemporary music to life in the glow of hundreds of candles. Hosted in the elegant halls of Corinthia Budapest, each performance creates a magical atmosphere – whether it’s baroque masterpieces, modern pop anthems, or sweeping film scores that speak to the heart.

The concerts take place on August 15 and 23, offering three unique themes, ensuring there’s something for every kind of music lover. More than just performances, these evenings invite the audience into immersive musical journeys, where light, stillness, and sound converge to create lasting memories.

On August 15, two concerts will take place back-to-back. First, Antonio Vivaldi’s timeless work The Four Seasons will be performed by the Sturcz String Quartet – a vivid, nature-inspired baroque experience under candlelight. Later that evening, a different kind of energy takes over with string renditions of Coldplay’s most beloved hits – including Fix You, Clocks, and Viva La Vida – offering a fresh interpretation of familiar melodies in a serene setting.

On August 23, fantasy lovers can look forward to a special program titled Rings and Dragons, featuring iconic soundtracks from beloved fantasy films and series. Music from The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, House of the Dragon, and more will fill the candlelit space, transporting listeners to worlds of magic, myth, and epic adventures.
